ARB announces the latest application for OME BP-51 high-performance bypass shock absorbers, engineered specifically to suit the Jeep JK Wrangler with 50mm (2″) suspension lifts. This complements the existing BP-51 models for JK Wranglers with a 75-100mm (3″-4″) lift.
Providing considerable ride comfort around town with significant amounts of end-zone damping for exceptional chassis control and handling off road, BP-51’s are tuned specifically for the Old Man Emu range of 50mm (2″) coils and tested with both diesel and petrol engine variants along with a range of optional ARB accessories. Further tuning enhancements to suit individuals applications can be made on-vehicle via the unique adjustment system providing both compression and rebound dampening refinement to suit a range of vehicle loads.
OME BP-51 shocks can be fitted as part of a complete OME suspension system including coils, steering damper, trim packer and fitting kits or can be retrofitted in place of existing Nitrocharger Sport shocks.
Utilising the same fitting kit developed for the 75-100mm (3″-4″) version, the front shock includes all mounting hardware required to fit the shock absorber and reservoir. A lower shock absorber mount has been designed that repositions the shock, providing clearance between the shock body and the chassis rail. A new fitting kit has been designed specifically to suit the rear shock where the factory mounts and utilised and includes a stone guard to protect the shaft from front wheel stone damage.
As with all OME suspension components, the BP-51 range comes with a 3 year, 60,000km warranty.
